AERODYNAMIC
Aerodynamic has been entirely simulated on computer as the speed range of the vehicle can not be tested in any of the existing wind tunnels. Body shape has been optimized by computational fluid dynamics. Particular care has been addressed to the front of the vehicle to reduce air stagnation effect below the car.
CHASSIS
The chassis is made with a combination of three different tecnologies:
Carbon tub cockpit to ensure protection to the driver.
Steel tubular construction surrounding the carbon tub.
Fabricated aluminium structure to mate front suspension assembly
SUSPENSION GEOMETRY
Suspension geometry has been designed to optimize stability and traction on salt track. The layout is similar to single seater race cars.
WHEELS AND TIRE
16" special tires has been produced by Thompson Tire USA and has been designed for speed up to 450 mph.
A Specific test program was carried on in Italy to check the complete wheel performance under heavy load condition.
Wheels have been produced by machining a solid aluminium alloy round billet by ANTERA
BODYWORK
Body is made in fiber-glass, nomex and kevlar composite materials. The model to create the moulds was made in 6 pieces full scale.
