Mission
"Nothing can compare with the emotion that the extremely clean lines of record breaking vehicles and the fascination exerted that this basic, direct, non-contemplative challenge arouses in me, measured with a number that is the perfect mathematical representation of the goal to become the fastest there is. Speed is a goal that is extraordinarily difficult to create, with that exponential growth of resistance that, when you reach certain limits, transforms immense effort into the tiniest progress."
SPEED RECORDS ARE BASICALLY THE QUEST FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
The development of an alcohol-powered engine, a renewable fuel that generates very low emissions, is one of the fundamental elements of the Gus Gus Streamliner project. The achievement of extreme speed brings an arduous technical battle against the fundamental laws of physics that define friction in all its forms. From a human point of view, the achievement of a speed record is a challenge against yourself as you venture into unexplored territory. We have designed, constructed and taken to successful levels the fastest Italian car of all times and on 18th August 2011 we set the new speed record for an E/FS category vehicle equipped with a naturally aspirated engine of up to 4200 c.c. The record is the first step that will bring more challenging speed records to our country, maintaining our commitment to the use of environmentally-friendly fuels and technology.
